Kudos Services would like to congratulate visionary public servant, Gerrie Mitra, after she was recognised in the 2019 Australia Day Honours List.
Gerrie, who is currently the Group Executive Director for Disability Services at South Australia’s Department of Human Services, received recognition for outstanding public service through the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme in the state.
Chief Executive Officer of Kudos Services, Nicole Keller, said it was Gerrie’s visionary leadership that led to the establishment the organisation – the nation’s first Public Service Mutual.
“We would like to congratulate Gerrie on this significant honour,” Nicole said.
“Her foresight has enabled Kudos Services to come into being and ensured that South Australian children and young people with a disability continue to receive the services and support they need to help them thrive.
“As an employee owned and led mutual, our highly-skilled and dedicated members have direct involvement in our decision-making and governance, ensuring they remain deeply engaged and motivated to achieve the best outcomes for the children and families we provide services to.”
Kudos Services delivers Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) and therapy services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for South Australian children and young people with developmental delay and disability.
