The Members at @Kudos (our very own employees 🙂 ) are the beating heart of our employee-controlled mutual.
Together we have marked some significant milestones over the last month: our third anniversary, our 2021 Annual General Meeting, and endorsing a new Constitution for our growing organisation.
So why does having a new Constitution makes us INCREDIBLY proud?
- It reflects Kudos’ purpose, principles and objects as a high-quality provider of services for people living with disability and their families or caregivers.
- It defines active membership, the rights and responsibilities of all Members, and the elected voice of members through a Members Council (pretty cool, huh?)
- It sets out the working partnership between the governance bodies: the Members, the Board, the Members Council and the office of the CEO, as well as expert advisers with lived experience of disability.
- Most importantly, it was signed by all of the Members of Kudos at our recent AGM!
