KUDOS SERVICES ANNOUNCED AS MAJOR SPONSOR OF KYD-X 2021, SA’S MAJOR KIDS AND YOUTH DISABILITY EXPO

Leading children and youth disability services provider, Kudos Services has been announced as the naming rights sponsor for KYD-X 2021, South Australia’s premier children and youth disability expo.

KYD-X is a not-for-profit organisation developed to help raise awareness, promote discussion, discover solutions, and create opportunities for young people living with disabilities to enjoy everyday experiences, every day.

Launched in 2016, the  Kids & Youth Disability Expo – which showcases more than 120 exhibitors –  was created to help parents and carers of young people living with a disability make informed choices about the products and services available to them.

The 2021 event is being held at Priceline Stadium, Keswick on Saturday, October 9.

CEO Darrin Johnson says he’s delighted Kudos Services will be supporting the expo as its major sponsor.

“This is a really important event for South Australian families and carers given there are a huge number of options for services available,” he says. “So being able to access such a significant number of potential suppliers all in one place, in a disability friendly environment for families, is a major plus and a natural fit for us to get behind.”

Kudos Services is an employee-led, for purpose mutual, owned and operated by its therapists and staff.

It was formed when its team of public service professionals joined together to create a new organisation to deliver National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) and Therapy services in South Australia.

It is now a leading provider of therapy services for young people with a disability from 7 years of age; and the NDIS Partner in South Australia for Early Childhood Early Intervention services for children 0-6 years.

“We know first-hand from our growing list of clients that, while choice is at the NDIS’ core, for some parents and care providers, it can be a little overwhelming trying to negotiate everything that is on offer,” says Mr Johnson.

“So this one day expo is a terrific solution to showcase a broad range of what’s in the marketplace.”

KYD-X founder Ben Waechter says he’s thrilled to have Kudos Services partner with the Expo.

“Kudos Services has a growing and positive reputation as one of South Australia’s leaders in supporting our children and young people living with a disability, “ he says.

“So we are naturally very happy to be partnering with such a highly respected and talented team.”
