Family Support Program, ENVISAGE X KUDOS

A free program empowering caregivers led by early childhood professionals

:

ENVISAGE is a program co-created by Australian and Canadian researchers, clinicians, and most importantly parents of children with developmental concerns and disabilities. The mission is to empower caregivers like you to feel confident and competent to navigate the experience of parenting a child or children with developmental concerns by embracing contemporary strengths-based ideas about health, wellbeing, and development.

Through our collaborative workshops, led by early childhood professionals and experienced caregiver peers, you’ll have the opportunity to share stories, exchange insights, and discover strategies that can truly make a difference in your daily life.

So, how does ENVISAGE Families work?
• The program consists of 5 facilitated workshops that can be delivered either over several weeks. In some cases the program may be available as an intensive on 1 day.
• Workshops are facilitated by a clinician/ early childhood professional and a parent or carer who has lived experience of raising a child with a disability or developmental concern.

The purpose of the ENVISAGE Families program is to empower caregivers like you to feel confident and competent in raising children with disabilities or developmental concerns. We understand that caring for a child with special needs can be challenging, and we want to support you in finding ways to support your child’s development and your family’s needs. ENVISAGE Families uses a positive approach that focuses on child and family strengths and possibilities, and aims to enable caregivers to feel valued, validated, and capable in their caregiving role.
