Liana is a Non-Executive Director

I was elected to the Board in November 2023. The ethos captured in the tagline of ‘wherever you are, wherever you want to be’ strikes a profound chord with me as a mother of a young adult living with disability. I’m deeply aware of the positive difference great support services like Kudos makes in navigating the complexities and curve balls that life can throw. Kudos being a mutual was equally inspiring for me, working in a mutual banking organisation, I understand the value mutuality brings. I’m also really passionate about the sector, having spent many years volunteering and fundraising I am committed to doing all that I can to support the continued growth of Kudos.

I’m currently the Chief People and Strategy Officer at Credit Union SA, responsible for the people and development, strategy and transformation and business improvement teams. Prior to this, I have held executive and leadership roles in not-for-profit employment and community services, FMCG manufacturing and retail sectors. This has included a number of global organisations and household names, and involved large-scale strategic and cultural transformations. I also hold Fellowship with the Australian Institute of Human Resources in recognition of my ongoing commitment and contribution to the profession. My experiences across these roles have given me a breadth of knowledge and insight in the areas of strategy, transformation, Human Resources, organisational design and development, continuous improvement, performance and capability that connects at a human level to create sustainable results that make a positive impact.

I am dedicated to a future that sees Kudos continue to make a positive impact on the lives of all individuals, families and communities that we are connected with. The future I envision is one where Kudos continues to be a beacon of compassion and support in transforming lives, bringing heart and celebration along the journey and where I can share my personal and professional experience to shape the delivery of our services to continue to propel us forward for many years to come.
