Scott Bryant

Non-executive Director

BEc, LLB, GDLP, CTA

Scott is a non-executive director and Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee.

I was elected to the Kudos Board 2021, and have since then been elected to chair the Finance and Audit Committee.

I have a long association with Kudos that goes back more than 20 years, when it was formerly Child and Youth Health. Back then, my wife was employed for Early Childhood health assessments, and I know several family members and friends who benefited greatly from early intervention services.

Kudos, as a sector-leading mutual and not-for-profit NDIS provider, is of great interest to me. As a former board member and treasurer with Operation Flinders (for at-risk youth), and with my lived experience with disabled family members, I have a strong appreciation of the challenges faced, and the value of NDIS in supporting people to realise their potential, and achieve in life.

I have over 30 years’ experience working in professional services, both in Australia and internationally. I have developed a broad range of skills in professional service delivery and organisational operations, covering finance, risk & governance, legal, broader consulting, regulatory and compliance. Also across the full organisational range of Government, Community, NFPs and listed and unlisted businesses. My technical experience and skills, together with my other Board experience, ensure that I can provide insight, technical judgment, leadership and governance contributions to Kudos.

There are significant challenges and opportunities confronting Kudos and the broader disability community that are growing. I believe Kudos is well-positioned to navigate these by leveraging its employee-controlled mutual structure and its growing recognition nationally as a unique sector leading, service provider. I am committed to bringing my experience and skills to support Kudos and its members, in striving to deliver great service outcomes for our clients, their families and the broader community.
